Meghan Markle 'petrified' her ex will 'spill secrets in bombshell book deal'

Just like Prince Harry and his memoir Spare, it’s been suggested that Meghan Markle’s ex-husband, Trevor Engelson could write a ‘tell-all’ book about their marriage, and the Duchess is said to be “petrified” according to one royal author.

Film producer Trevor Engelson and Meghan Markle were married for two years, from 2011-2013, citing ‘irreconcilable differences’ as the reason for divorce. Just like the Duchess, Trevor has since remarried, tying the knot with Tracey Kurland in 2019.

Trevor Engelson reportedly offered ‘big money’ for ‘tell all’ book

Royal author Neil Sean claims that the movie producer is being offered “big money” to spill all about his and Meghan’s relationship.

“Many agents have offered him big deals and big money when Meghan was at the height of her fame. I would think that he will take stock and look at all options,” he told OK! Magazine.

“Meghan is bound to be petrified. He would truly have a remarkable story because after all, he would have first-hand experience of what it was like to be married the first time around to the actress.”

Prince Harry‘s memoir Spare sold more than 3.2 million copies worldwide after just one week of publication, which broke the record for the fastest-selling book since records began.

In the book he spilled exclusive information on Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton’s relationship, and just like this, Neil says a book about about Trevor’s account of his marriage would attract a lot of interest. Including, an “inside track” of what Meghan was like before she married into the royal family.

“If he talks about how he was dumped and why, then it could be explosive. Meghan is not known for keeping any friends from her past and Trevor’s story so far is a huge mystery,” he said.

Meghan and Harry hit with cruel ‘divorce rumors’

In recent weeks, Meghan and Harry have been hit by divorce rumors, themselves, which started when the Duchess of Sussex was seen without her wedding ring, in which Harry used a diamond from Princess Diana‘s collection.

However, these rumors were quickly shut down when a source told PageSix that Markle’s ring is simply “being fixed.”

The pair have been seen on many outings together since, as they looked “Crazy in Love” recently, as they danced away together at Beyonce’s Renaissance Tour.

Harry then headed off back to the UK to host the WellKid award show, but Meghan was not by his side. She has now, however, joined her husband in Europe as they flew to Düsseldorf for the 2023 Invictus Games.
