Services for Mrs. Deborah Campbell, 71, of Moselle were at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Moselle Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Campbell passed from this life on Dec. 17, 2023 in Laurel. Dr. Keith Thompson and Brother Daniel Jackson officiated the service and burial followed in Moselle Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers were Mitch Robinson, Jonathan Shows, Nathan Shows, Tad Walters, Kerry Spalding, Greg Smith, Rocky Walters and Danny Austin.

Mrs. Campbell taught for almost 40 years at Moselle Elementary School and was a member of Moselle Memorial Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her flower beds, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her husband David Campbell; parents Philip and Josephine James; brother Mike James; and grandparents P.E. and Allie B. James.

She is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Joe Michael) Robertson of Moselle; son Matthew (Tiffany) Campbell of Moselle; grandchildren Josie (Fisher) Norris, Neeley Robertson, Tristyn Robertson, Tate Robertson, Hagen Campbell, Hudson Campbell and Holden Campbell; and brother Stan (Candy) James of Moselle.

Jones and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
