Chip and Joanna Gaines Open Vacation Rental The Carriage House

This is not a drill: Chip and Joanna Gaines are opening yet another vacation rental house near their home of Waco, Texas.

The Magnolia team announced the news in an email to those who have stayed at the couple’s first property, The Magnolia House. In fact, if you’re a longtime fan of Chip and Jo then you’ll likely recognize the adorable home they’re now sharing with guests: It’s the Carriage House from season 3 of Fixer Upper!

If you don’t remember the details of this particular project, let us help you out: The Carriage House was formerly a dilapidated abode that sat in the backyard of Magnolia House. They transformed it for Rob and Marianne Ward, who were the caretakers for Magnolia House. Jo shared plenty of photos on her blog showcasing the space, which includes details like barn doors, a soaking tub, iron light fixtures, and, naturally, lots of shiplap.

Now, the Gaineses are opening up their remodel for others to enjoy. The email claims the home sleeps six, with a king-size bed in the master suite and two additional bedrooms with queen beds. The price will be $695/night on the weekends, and will only be available on the weekends from March through the end of summer.

If you’re interested in snagging the retreat for yourself, you better book ASAP: There are only a few weekends remaining for the entirety of March-June. And as we’re sure you know from how fast Magnolia House and Hillcrest Estate sell out, Fixer Upper fans are a fast-acting bunch!
